Datapods

What is a Datapod?

Picture a Datapod as a locked safe for your personal data, fully encrypted. It is more than a place to store things.

A Datapod is your digital safe for personal data. Picture every fact companies hold about you, stored in one place, encrypted. A Datapod is more than storage. It is how you take that data back.

Take control of your data

With a Datapod you can ask companies what they have stored about you. Left to those companies, that request is often slow, and what comes back is a file almost nobody can read. The Datapod runs the whole process. It sends the requests under the GDPR and keeps what comes back in your safe, encrypted and within the rules.

Your digital identity

Once the data is in, a dashboard shows you which companies hold what, and how they use it. Want something deleted or corrected? You can exercise those GDPR rights from the same place.

Put your data to work

A Datapod also lets you share data on purpose.

Researchers often cannot get good data about real people. Digitisation is missing, the paperwork is heavy, or nobody will grant access. In medicine, that gap can block research that would save lives.

That is where you come in. If you want to, you can let specific researchers see selected categories from your Datapod. The data is pseudonymised and folded into larger sets. You decide what leaves, and who receives it. That is a concrete way to support research in Europe.

In short: a Datapod puts you at the centre of a data economy that is more open and fairer, where you stay in control and get something back when your data is used.
