# The entire industry asks. We can just look. > Market research runs on asking people questions. We took another path: 25,000+ consumers consciously share their digital lives with us, and get paid for it. So when a company wants to understand its customers, we don't have to ask what happened. We can see it. ## We started with a promise. Datapods began with a conviction about people, not about research: your data is an asset, you control it, and you get paid when it creates value. That conviction hasn't moved an inch. It turned out to be the foundation of something bigger. Because the market taught us what companies actually pay for. Not data. Understanding their customers. And the industry built around that understanding, market research, is stuck with a method that measures what people say, not what they do. Surveys deliver recall, self-image, and whoever felt like answering. Consented, observed behavior replaces that foundation. When thousands of people willingly share their real digital lives, nobody has to estimate the truth anymore. You can read it. Asking still matters, but as a layer on top of what actually happened. Not as a substitute for it. ## Three layers. One company. Each layer makes the others stronger. That's why we build all three ourselves. ### 01 The panel Consumer apps where people connect their accounts, share their data, and earn from it. This is our supply chain. It grows because the apps give people real value back: control, transparency, fair pay. ### 02 The intelligence Multi-agent systems that work through years of real behavior like a team of data scientists. Questions that used to take a research agency weeks are answered in hours, with evidence, not estimates. ### 03 The interface A platform where our customers' teams actually work, continuously. They ask their own questions, run their own studies, and build on everything they've learned, instead of buying a report once a year. ## What doesn't change. The panel only exists because people trust us. That trust has rules, and they are not negotiable. ### You see everything Every connected source, every share, every use of your data is visible in the app. No fine print, no black box. ### You get paid When your data creates value, you earn from it. Not as a gesture, but as the principle the whole company is built on. ### You can leave anytime Disconnect a source or delete your account with one tap. When you leave, your data actually goes with you. We sell understanding, never raw data. And the strictest privacy regime on earth isn't a burden to us. It's the reason people trust us with their data in the first place. The European Commission cites Datapods as a working example of European data rights in practice. ## The people behind Datapods.
